DUHS Admission 2024 marks a significant opportunity for faculty development, especially for those in medical academia. The Dow Institute of Health Professionals Education is offering this CHPE Certificate Course, which has been deemed mandatory by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council PM&DC. The course aims to instill core principles of Health Professions Education and their practical applications within the local context.Led by the esteemed Director of DIHPE, Dr. Farhan Saeed Vakani, a distinguished Ph.D. holder and Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow, the program is set to commence on 26th February, 2024. The faculty development initiative seeks to enrich medical educators, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest pedagogical techniques.
The eligibility criteria are inclusive, welcoming individuals with MBBS/BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized by PM&DC, as well as those from diverse fields such as Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharm-D, and Clinical Psychology. Faculty members of recognized institutions are encouraged to apply, provided they secure a No Objection Certificate from the Chairperson/Head of the department.
The CHPE Certificate Course stands out with a reasonable fee structure of Rs. 45,000/- for DUHS faculty and Rs. 60,000/- for external faculty members. With only 50 slots available, interested candidates are urged to submit their applications promptly. The deadline for form submission is 10th February, 2024.
