How to Apply for the CM Merit Scholarship for Study Abroad CMMSP

Eligibility Criteria for CMMSP

• Maximum age: 40 years as of the application closing date.


• Must be a resident of Balochistan, with local domicile and permanent address in Balochistan on the CNIC. A residence certificate from the district administration is also required.


• Minimum of 60% marks throughout the academic career.


• Permanent/regular faculty members of public sector educational institutions and public service employees of Pakistan are ineligible.


• Must possess an unconditional, valid offer letter for a PhD from one of the top 100 QS-ranked universities for the 2025 session.


• Must not have previously received any foreign PhD scholarship from any national, provincial, or donor program.

Required Documents for CMMSP Application

• Attested copy of CNIC


• Attested copies of all educational documents


• CV/Resume


• Copy of an unconditional/valid admission offer for PhD studies


• Attested copy of local domicile


• Three passport-size photographs with a blue background


• Synopsis/Research Proposal


• Statement of Purpose one page


• Any other supporting documents required to substantiate the information provided in the application


• Police Character Certificate
