Cambridge Upgrades Grading System for O/A Level June Exams

Cambridge Assessment International Education has declared to cancel exams, which were scheduled to be held during the months of May and June this year because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Cambridge Upgrades Grading System for O/A Level for June Exams.

CAIE has cancelled the exams and announced to mark the students for May June exams on the basis of 4 step process to combine the evidence, which is shared by the schools with evidence. The schools will have to submit the academic performance reports of students, who get grade for May June exams and the schools can register the students, who have shown insufficient performance data so that they can appear in the exams held during October and November 2020 at the same fee. The results of the May and June exams will be declared before 13 August and grades of exams in October and November 2020 will be announced within three months.

The newly devised grading process is just like to one in UK and it applies to all CAIE schools all over the world. The evidence based grades will be accepted across the globe and VAIE tried to facilitate the students in the possible way.

Private Candidates

It is reported that the registered schools will obtain the option for receiving evidence based grades during the May and June exams. All private students attend the tuition centers and it becomes very difficult to get evidence of your long performance and all private candidates can account for 35% for total enrollment of CAIE in Pakistan, who will attend the exams being held in October and November this year.
