Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Now Available from Primary to Inter




Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program has been extended to cover higher secondary education. Students from classes 6 to 10 will now receive quarterly education stipends. The Benazir Income Support Program Board has approved the inclusion of first and second-year intermediate students in the Wasila Education Program, providing stipends of Rs 3,500 per quarter for boys and Rs 4,000 per quarter for girls in these grades. Additionally, matriculation students will receive Rs 3,000 quarterly. The students can get fresh information of Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Now Available from Primary to Inter.


Comprehensive Stipend Structure

All eligible students from primary to class 12 will benefit from quarterly scholarships. Primary graduates will receive a one-time stipend of Rs 3,000. The Ehsaas Education Quarterly Stipend for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif is structured as follows:


For Girls

•          Primary: Rs 2,000

•          Secondary/Matric: Rs 3,000

•          Higher Secondary/Intermediate: Rs 4,000


For Boys

•          Primary: Rs 1,500

•          Secondary/Matric: Rs 2,500

•          Higher Secondary/Intermediate: Rs 3,500

For more information, students and parents should contact the nearest Ehsaas center. Students must maintain minimum attendance to continue receiving stipends, as per program policies.


Eligibility and Enrollment Process

To be eligible for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program, children must be from families that are active BISP Kafalat beneficiaries. The age criteria are as follows:


•          Primary Education: 4-12 years

•          Secondary Education: 8-18 years

•          Higher Secondary Education: 13-22 years


Enrollment requires students to be admitted to a school or college in Pakistan. Parents must bring the following documents to an enrollment camp or field office:

•          Beneficiary’s CNIC

•          B-form/CRC issued by NADRA

•          Verified school/college admission slip


Since its inception, the program has enrolled 12.01 million children, disbursing Rs 63.34 billion. Enrollment by education level includes 9,306,324 primary students, 2,406,859 secondary students, and 297,661 higher secondary students.
