Baltistan University Announces Exams Policy in Pakistan

University of Baltistan, Skardu has become the first university, which has declared its exams and assessment policy to the students for spring semester 2020. The Vice Chancellor of the university has discussed the policy in the committee meeting, which was attended by over 200 public and private universities and the salient features of the exams policy were discussed in this meeting. Baltistan University has completed the ongoing distance education program through the LMS software. The assessment of the mid-term exams will be added with the assignments, projects, quizzes, case studies, online viva voce and presentations, which will be completed by 10 June 2020. The on-campus final exams will be managed between 6 to 14 July under the provision of the strict SOPs and the protocol of the social distancing.

The university will also declare new admissions for fall semester during the months of June and July and the academic activities will also be continued. This was the 4th meeting, which was conducted through the video conferencing in order to discuss the online education, admission, academic quality, and exams policy during the lockdown because of the spreading of the coronavirus pandemic all over the country. It was also decided during the meeting that each university will present its own exams and admission policy in a week.
