Balochistan Extends Schools & Colleges Summer Vacations
The Education Department of Baluchistan government has accorded the extension in the summer vacations in the schools and colleges in the summer zones because of the recent heavy monsoon rainfalls and floods. Balochistan Extends Schools & Colleges Summer Vacations.
The provincial government has announced that all public and private schools and colleges in summer zones will reopen on 15-08-2022. The government education department announced the summer vacations in the summer zones public and private schools and colleges during May 2022 as the weather conditions were extremely hot.
The government issued the notification that summer vacations in the educational institutes in summer zones were started from 15 May and the vacations were going to finish on 31 July 2022. Keeping in view the flood situation across the province, the government announced that the schools and colleges will reopen on 15 August.
The consecutive torrential monsoon rainfalls have created the havoc in the province and hundreds of people were killed and billion rupees worth infrastructure has been damaged. Provincial Disaster Management Authority PDMA Baluchistan shows that 126 people and 23,000 cattle have died in this rainy and flood situation. It is reported that over 13,000 houses have been damaged and the roads, which are spreading over 640 kms have been destroyed and total 16 bridges have been collapsed.
