Balochistan Board Releases Revised Schedule for Delayed Inter Exams
The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BBISE Quetta, has issued a new schedule for the intermediate annual exams, confirming that the examinations across the province will now begin on May 2, 2025. As per an official announcement released on April 27, 2025, the exams were originally set to start on April 22 but were postponed for three weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. In a move to ease disruptions for students and their families, the Quetta Board decided to resume exams earlier than the initial revised estimate.
Inter Exams to Start from May 2 Following Postponement
The updated date sheet outlines that students of Intermediate Part 1 and 2 will appear in their annual exams from May 2 to May 29, 2025. Examinations will be held in two shifts — the morning session starting at 9:00 a.m. and the evening session beginning at 2:00 p.m. Students are advised to consult the official website of BBISE to access the complete revised date sheet.
In a related development, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi BIEK has announced that its postponed exams will now commence on May 5, 2025.
Separately, the Sindh Assembly’s parliamentary committee has agreed to award grace marks to first-year students who did not pass their exams, following findings of irregularities and unfair practices in the examination system.
