Baitul Mal and IIUI Join Hands to Provide Scholarships

Baitul Mal, in collaboration with the International Islamic University IIU, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding MoU to extend financial support to deserving students of the university. Under this agreement, Baitul Mal will offer scholarships to 250 IIU students, comprising 175 undergraduate and 75 postgraduate students, based on merit and need. The signing ceremony took place at the IIUs new campus, attended by Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, the President of IIU, and Mr. Ameer Fida Paracha, the Managing Director of Baitul Mal, who signed the agreement.

Observance of International Days

In addition to the scholarship program, both institutions have pledged to jointly observe national and international events such as Universal Childrens Day, International Womens Day, Thalassemia Day, World Blood Day, and World AIDS Day. Furthermore, Baitul Mal will provide internship opportunities for IIU students, enhancing their practical learning experiences.

Baitul Mal Commitment to Financial Assistance

Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Mr. Ameer Fida Paracha emphasized Baitul Mals commitment to extending financial assistance to underprivileged individuals without any discrimination of cost, color, or race. He acknowledged the importance of intelligent students as valuable assets to the country and assured that they will remain a top priority for Baitul Mal. Mr. Paracha also stressed the significance of investing in the education of the youth, as it yields the best results for the nations progress and prosperity.

During his speech, Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, the President of IIU, highlighted the universitys dedication to providing free education to needy students and its overall vision. He expressed gratitude towards the Managing Director of Baitul Mal for consistently considering IIU students when extending support. Dr. Alotaibi mentioned the universitys efforts to assist economically disadvantaged students through various resources and opportunities. He expressed optimism that the MoU would foster a stronger relationship between IIU and Baitul Mal. Additionally, he expressed his intention to share Baitul Mals remarkable services and vision with philanthropists worldwide, acting as a bridge to establish joint ventures aimed at serving societies.
