AIOU Cancels Exams in Rawalpindi & Islamabad Due to Security Concerns
Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU, Islamabad, which recently began conducting exams for various programs across Pakistan, including Rawalpindi and Islamabad, has postponed the exams scheduled for November 27, 2024. This decision was made due to the deteriorating security situation in the twin cities. Students, teachers, and parents are advised to stay updated regarding the changes in the exam schedule for these regions. Revised Exam Schedule for Affected Areas
The university administration clarified that exams will proceed as planned in all other parts of Pakistan, including Rawalpindis surrounding tehsils such as Murree, Taxila, Gujar Khan, Kallar Syedan, Kahuta, and Kotli Satian. AIOU will announce the rescheduled dates for the postponed exams soon, and candidates will be notified accordingly to ensure they can participate in their exams without disruption.
