Admission for Kashmiri Students on AJK Quota Seats 2024
The Secretariat of Higher Education, Government of AJK, through the Nomination Board, has announced the admission process for Kashmiri students in Pakistani universities on the AJK Quota for the year 2024. Reserved seats are allocated in Pakistani professional institutions, colleges, and engineering universities for AJK residents, refugees from 1947, and refugees from 1989. Application Process
All candidates interested in applying through the Nomination Board must apply online directly on the websites of the respective universities. This online application is mandatory; failure to comply will result in ineligibility for nomination in the concerned universities.
UET Peshawar Admission Criteria
Candidates aiming for a civil engineering seat at UET Peshawar must note that after receiving a nomination letter based on merit from the Nomination Board, UET Peshawar will further finalize merit among the nominated students from AJK, GB, and Army quota on a merit-cum-choice basis. If a candidate does not meet the merit for civil engineering, the university will offer an alternative technology of the candidates choice, excluding civil technology.
Entering Academic Marks
All students must accurately enter their marks according to the specified policy. Incorrect entries will lead to the rejection of their applications.

How to Apply for Kashmiri Students Seats
- Candidates must clear the entry test if required by the institution.
- The application processing fee is PKR 1500 for all courses and PKR 2000 for self-finance seats.
- Application fees can be submitted online in the name of Secretary Nomination Board AJK, A/C# 197-8 NBP Old Secretariat Branch Code 0660, Muzaffarabad.
- Attach attested copies of all required documents with the application.
- Hafiz-e-Quran students must appear in a test to receive an additional 20 marks.
- Candidates with A-Level or equivalent qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate, as merit will be determined on an average basis, not CGPA.
- Incomplete applications or those without all required documents will be rejected.
The deadline for application submission is July 15, 2024
