9th Class Board Exams Finishes in KPK Next Year

Peshawar, The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to finish the 9th class board exams across the province from next year. It is also decided that the relevant educational boards will conduct the middle class annual exams and the declaration in this regard will be issued from next week. 9th Class Board Exams Finishes in KPK Next Year.

The government of KPK has started the old procedure of 1996 and also decided to make some changes in the education department. The ex PTI government initiated the analytical exams in all primary schools across the province, which has the objective to analyze the education standard of the students and teachers. The eight class analytical exams was started in 2016 and they announced that the primary and middle class analytical exams will be taken by the board from March 2018. All these exams have been conducted during February for which the preparations have been started in the schools and educational boards after the summer vacation from 01 September. But the government could not make the decision till December.

The government has made the decision that Matric part 1 annual exams will not be taken by the educational board but the SSC part 1 annual exams will be taken by the concerned educational boards in the high and higher secondary schools like the normal annual exams. It is also decided that all educational boards will take middle class annual exams. Now the primary and middle classes annual analytical exams will be taken across the province, in which the government schools are included. This time the educational boards will manage the exams of only 10% schools and the remaining 90% schools will taken their own analytical exams but the boards will provide the exams papers to the schools.

It is to be clear that 8th class annual exams was taken by the board till 1996 and from 1997, this exams was converted to normal annual exams and the 9th class annual exams was brought under the educational board.
