Mbbs Fee Structure
The students can get admission in the MBBS class in the public or private college or university and they can pursue six years long degree course, which is contained with five years of basic and clinical education and one year house job.
When the students complete their one year academic study, they appear in the annual professional exams as per PMDC course curriculum.
MBBS Fee in Pakistan
In the government sector medical colleges and university, the students pay the regular fee, which is ranged from Rs.20,000/- to Rs.40,000/- and average fee comes to Rs.30,000/-. The students also pay the prospectus and admission fee, which is one time. The admission fee ranges from Rs.500/- to Rs.2000/- and the prospectus fee ranges from Rs.500/- to Rs.1000/-.
MBBS Fee in private sector in Pakistan
The number of government colleges or universities are limited and most of the students have to get admission in the private medical and dental colleges and universities but the fee in the private colleges or universities is higher than the public sector institutions. The Supreme Court of Pakistan issued orders in November 2018 to fix the annual fee in the private medical colleges and they are advised to follow the MBBS fee structure according to the MBBS Admission Policy 2019.
MBBS annual tuition fee per student with all charges including university examination fee, academic or administrative fee, university retention affiliation fee and transport fee is not exceeding to Rs.950,000/-. The students will pay one time admission fee of Rs.50,000/- and the prospectus fee of Rs.3000/-.
MBBS Fee Overseas in Pakistan:
The foreign students, who want to study in MBBS program in Pakistani medical colleges or universities, they will have to pay the MBBS annual fee per student including the academic or administrative fee, university retention affiliation fee, university exams fee, transport fee and hostel fee, which will not be exceeding to $18,000 and the one time admission fee is Rs.50,000/- and MBBS fee prospectus is Rs.3,000/-.
Mbbs Eligibility Criteria
The students must have passed their intermediate class with Pre-Medical or equivalent with 70% marks is considered as the minimum eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions in Pakistan.
The A-level students, who have passed their course equal to FSc pre-medical from foreign education system or university or exams body with minimum three subjects including Chemistry, Physics and Biology and secure minimum 70% marks and such course must be recognized by Inter Boards Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) or equal to Higher Secondary School Certificate of Pakistan.
Mbbs Admission 2025
According to the last MBBS admission policy 2018, PMDC has amended it in the meeting in May 2019, the general MBBS admission criteria 2020 in Pakistan is mentioned and the admissions are announced in the public or private sector medical colleges and universities after announcement of the admissions in the MBBS programs.
The students, must have passed their FSc or HSSC or the higher secondary school certificate with Pre-Medical group including the subjects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics and the students will have to pass admission entry test, being managed by the admitting university or college and also follow their instructions and rules relating to the admission in the MBBS programs.
MBBS Admission Requirements for Foreign Students
Foreign or Overseas Pakistani students, who complete their twelve years of school education from foreign schools and they want to get admission in MBBS program against the open merit or foreign seats in any private medical colleges, they must have passed their Inter pre-medical with at least 70% marks in aggregate from the foreign university or the exams body or the education system with minimum three subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Biology and this course must be certified by IBCC.
The candidates must have passed the IELTS or TOEFL (An English Proficiency Test) with minimum ban score of 5.5 or 500 or they have the certification by NUML.
MBBS Admission Procedure in Pakistan
MBBS Admission advertisement or MBBS Admission open in Pakistan during the month of July or August. The university, which will admit the students, they will announce their MBBS Admission advertisement 2020 and the PMDC will implement the centralized entry test system and the Centralized entry test will be held in the country on same date by official authority in 2020.
Students will apply for MBBS in public or private medical colleges through admitting university, which will also manage the Centralized Entry Test and prepare the merit of colleges. The students can also note the MBBS admission 2020 documents required including the documents required for MBBS admissions 2020 and the candidates must have passed their matric or equivalent degree certificate issued by relevant board or authority and FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent result card, which is issued by concerned authority or board. The candidates will provide the domicile and CNIC or the B Form and the photographs of the candidates.
MDCAT Registration Fee 2020
When the students send their application forms online for MBBS admission or the MBBS admissions application forms 2020 in University, the entry test of the candidates will also be held and when the merit list of the qualified and successful candidates will be announced by the concerned authority and the admissions will be granted to the students.
