About University Of Lakki Marwat
University of Lakki Marwat was developed from the sub campus of the University of Science and Technology and this university was established in December 2014. When this university was launched, the two departments of Political Science and Education and Research were established. In 2017, it was established as the full fledge University and the charter of the university was issued through the ordinance on 22 August 2020 by the Governor of KPK and after that KPK Assembly passed an Act on 26 February 2018. Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has allocated the amount of Rs.1.52 billion for the construction and development works. University of Lakki Marwat aims at the creation of learning place and environment and this university can meet the higher level of education demands of the students of the local and nearby areas and now the students of this area do not need to go anywhere to get higher education and especially the female students will not face any hardship to go to other cities in getting education of Master, MPhil and doctoral education.
The students can get admission in various undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs in different disciplines including Physics, Business Management, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Political Sciences, Chemical Sciences, English and Applied Linguistics, Education and Research.
