About The Islamia University Of Bahawalpur
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur IUB is the oldest public sector educational institute of the country. IUB was established in 1925 before the creation of Pakistan. Initially, Islamia University was started as a religious university, Jamia Abbasia, following the pursuits of AL-Azhar University, Egypt. The University was granted as a separate university and renamed as Islamia University of Bahawalpur IUB in 1975.
Initially the IUB started Abbasia Campus and Khwaja Fareed Campus. In 2005, Islamia University started two more campuses one Bahawalpur Division, other in Bahwalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan Campus.
The Islamia University Bahawalpur with all necessary facilities is providing quality education in various emerging programs under the supervision of qualified staff. The IUB offers various undergraduate, graduate and post graduate programs under the following faculties.
