About Peoples University Of Medical And Health Sciences
In April 1974, the People medical College was established in NawabShah, Sindh particularly for girls to facilitate them with the medical education with a great vision of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Till now about 6000 female paramedics has completed their graduation from People Medical College.
The Peoples Medical College has initiated its postgraduate training and about 600 postgraduate trainees have completed their studies in medical sciences. Peoples University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women (PUMHSW), Nawabshah was established by act of Government of Sindh 2009 dated 21-12-2009, Governor of Sindh & Chancellor given Ascent on 10-11-2010.
