VU Extends Deadline for Document Verification 2023

In a bid to accommodate the dynamic needs and circumstances of its dedicated student body, Virtual University VU has announced an extension for the VU physical or in-person verification of documents for students provisionally admitted during the Fall 2023 admissions. This move is in recognition of the challenges students may face in completing the verification process and aims to ensure that everyone has sufficient time to navigate this crucial step in their academic journey.

Extension for Document Verification:

The University has diligently considered the efforts put forth by its students in completing the physical verification of documents. Acknowledging various circumstances that may impact timely completion, VU Admission 2023 is pleased to extend the due date until December 8, 2023. This extension period, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, is designed to alleviate potential time constraints and provide a comfortable window for all students to submit their documents.

Who Benefits from the Extension:

Students provisionally admitted during the VU Fall 2023 admissions, who were notified via email to visit VU offices/campus for document verification, stand to benefit from this extension. For those who have not yet appeared physically for the verification process, it is advised to visit the nearest VU Admission 2023 office or campus from November 28, 2023, to December 8, 2023 Monday to Friday.

Verification Process for Overseas Students:

Overseas students, who are an integral part of VUs diverse community, will receive specific information about the verification process through email. This ensures that all students, regardless of their geographical location, have the opportunity to fulfill the verification requirements.

Consequences of Non-Verification:

For students who fail to complete the document verification process before the mid-term examinations commence on December 4, 2023, there are significant consequences. Non-verification will render them ineligible to appear for mid-semester examinations, leading to the cancellation of admission and marking as "Withdrawn."

Mandatory Requirements for Verification:

To facilitate a smooth verification process, students are required to bring the following documents:

Original Academic Transcripts/Result Cards/Degrees/Certificates, etc.
Original Computerized National Identity Card CNIC/B-Form.
Two attested passport size photographs with a blue background.
Two sets of attested copies of all educational documents along with CNIC/B-Form copies.
Write Admission Form No./VU ID on the top right corner of each document.

Adhering to these requirements ensures that the verification process is efficient and minimizes any potential inconvenience for the students.
