UMT Released Notification for Undergraduate Programs Scholarships 2024
The University of Management and Technology UMT has announced the Chief Ministers Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2024, initiated by the Government of Punjab. This merit-based scholarship aims to support academically gifted students from low-income families, allowing them to pursue undergraduate degrees at leading universities, including UMT. The scholarship primarily covers tuition fees, ensuring students can focus on their studies without financial burdens.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria: they must have domicile in Punjab, be under 22 years of age, and have a family income of less than Rs. 300,000 per month. Additionally, they should be enrolled in selected disciplines at participating universities for the fall session of 2024. Notably, students already enrolled in the first year of MBBS or BDS in 2024 are also eligible to apply.
The program is designed to award approximately 30,000 scholarships annually, making it a significant opportunity for students in Punjab. This scholarship initiative reflects UMTs commitment to enabling academic excellence and providing access to quality education.
