Schools Not Receive More Than One Month Fee as SHC Ordered

Sindh High Court (SHC) has stopped the private schools across Sindh not to receive fee more than one month from the parents of the students. Schools Not Receive More Than One Month Fee as SHC Ordered.
The parents have filed the petition in the court and the SHC has issued the decision, which shows that many private schools were not implementing the orders of the court regarding fee reimbursement.
SHC has already stopped the private schools to increase the tuition fee more than 5% annually and the court ordered the schools to return the excessive fee, which is charged during this process. The petition submitted before Sindh High Court that many private schools has maintained issuing of inflated fee receipts and education department failed to implement the decision of the court.
It is stated in the petition that some private schools send three month fee challans to students, which is the direct contradiction to the directives of the court. It was pleaded in the court through petition that court take strict action against the schools, which violated the orders of the honorable court.
SHC full bench, which was headed by Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, observed that private schools were running ahead of tax department and they sent the advance fee challans to the parents of their students. The honorable judge said how they justify demand of fee for three months as most of the schools will be closed during this time.
The court issued the orders to the private schools to issue revised fee challans by 15 April and submit compliance report on next hearing.
