Lahore School of Economics Admissions Open 2024

The Lahore School of Economics is now accepting applications for its MPhil/MS Full Scholarship Programmes for 2024. These programs offer comprehensive academic and research training, preparing students for advanced careers in academia, industry, and public policy.

MPhil/MS in Economics

The MPhil in Economics program requires 30 credit hours of coursework and a thesis worth 6 credit hours, typically completed in 2-3 years of full-time study. The MS in Economics program entails 24 credit hours of coursework plus a 6-credit hour research project, or alternatively, 30 credit hours of coursework, to be completed in 1-2 years of full-time study. Admission is competitive, based on the HAT 3-Social Sciences test, academic records, and an interview. Candidates must have a 4-year BSc Hons in Economics or 16 years of schooling in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

MPhil/MS in Business Administration

The MPhil in Business Administration program requires 30 credit hours of coursework and a thesis worth 6 credit hours, typically completed in 2-3 years. The MS in Business Administration involves 24 credit hours of coursework and a 6-credit hour research project, or 30 credit hours of coursework, to be completed in 1-2 years. Admission requires the HAT 2-Management Sciences test, an admissions test by the Lahore School of Economics Admissions 2024, and an interview. Applicants need a BBA Hons or equivalent, or an MBA with a CGPA of 3.0 or above.

MPhil in Development Studies

The MPhil in Development Studies requires 24 credit hours of coursework and a 6-credit hour thesis, usually completed in 2-2.5 years. Admission criteria include the HAT 3-Social Sciences test, an admissions test, and an interview. Candidates must hold a four-year bachelors degree or a two-year masters degree with a CGPA of 3.0.

MPhil in Environmental Science & Policy

The MPhil in Environmental Science & Policy demands 30 credit hours of coursework and a thesis worth 6 credit hours, to be finished in 2-3 years. Entry requires the HAT 4-Physical Sciences test, an admissions test, and an interview. Eligible candidates should have 16 years of education in relevant fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
