Federal Schools Shift Exams Approach for Grade 5 Students
In a significant move, the Federal Ministry of Education has opted to halt the centralized Exams system for 5th Class students across schools under the Federal Directorate of Education FDE. This decision, outlined in a statement by the ministry, aims to alleviate the burden of exam-related stress and foster a more nurturing learning environment. Emphasis on Holistic Development

Teacher Concerns and Transition Challenges
However, amidst these reforms, concerns have been raised by teachers conducting centralized primary and middle standard exams regarding unpaid remuneration and financial strain incurred during exam duties over the past three years. Despite assurances from the FDE, these teachers have yet to receive their due compensation, prompting calls for a transition towards local exams to alleviate their grievances.
Continuation of Eighth-Grade Exams
While the centralized Exams system undergoes transformation, the FDE confirms that eighth-grade exams will continue to be conducted as usual, ensuring continuity in the assessment process for students at this educational level.
